The WWE NXT brand rolled through Philadelphia, PA this Friday evening for a live event headlined by The Velveteen Dream defending his NXT North American Championship against both Adam Cole and Matt Riddle in a triple threat match.
Earlier in the night, 205 Live Superstar Drew Gulak unsuccessfully challenged the black-and-yellow brand’s newest acquisition, KUSHIDA.
Following the bout, Gulak announced that EVOLVE Wrestling would be holding its 10th Anniversary event at the historic 2300 Arena in Philadelphia on Saturday, July 13th — and it looks like the show just found its main event!
Gulak, a former Evolve Tag Team Champion, will be stepping into the ring against NXT’s “Original Bro” Matt Riddle, a former Evolve Champion in his own right. Check out Drew’s announcement below:
