WWE SmackDown ratings up for second straight week

Overnight ratings for SmackDown on FOX saw the show increase for the second straight week.

The show averaged 2.043 million viewers. It topped two million viewers for both hours, with the first hour coming in in at 2.03 million and the second actually increasing to 2.055 million, a rare feat for a WWE television show these days. 

That was up very slightly from last week’s 2.04 million viewers. It was basically statistically even with last week, but where the episode did show increases was in the demos.

In 18-34, SmackDown was up 16.7 percent to a 0.35 rating, its best number in a month. The second hour did a 0.4 rating, which tied ABC’s Shark Tank for the highest number on network TV in that demo.

In 18-49, the show averaged a 0.55 rating, up 10 percent and also SmackDown’s best number in a month. That beat everything except ABC programming on network TV for the night.
