With Thanksgiving in the rear view mirror, and Black Friday upon us, we are just a few weeks away from the 2018 Christmas season and the annual WWE Live Holiday Tour.
Last year the decision was made to host Monday Night Raw live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago on Christmas Day, generating a considerable amount of negative feedback from fans and wrestlers alike, and resulting in the second lowest viewership of 2017.
The latest from PWInsider.com suggests that WWE will be handling things differently this year, with Monday Night Raw and Smackdown Live falling on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, respectively. The plan as of now is to instead tape double episodes the week before on 12/17 in Sacramento and 12/18 in Fresno, which will be the tapings immediately following WWE TLC.

The crew will then have an entire week off, with both brands returning to action on 12/26 with a Raw/NXT live event at Madison Square Garden and a Smackdown live event at the Allstate Arena.
