WWE Releases 2 Wrestlers, Hulk Hogan Rejects "Tribute to The Troops" Offer

— World Wrestling Entertainment released 2 more contracted talents in the past week as part of their cost-cutting initiative, according to PWInsider.com. Both releases are from WWE’s developmental system. The first release is Imani Lee, a former K-1 fighter who is a good friend of Batista’s. The second is Mike Jarvi, a 7 footer who worked in Florida Championship Wrestling as Giant Titan.

— Vince McMahon contacted Hulk Hogan within the last two months about appearing on WWE’s upcoming Tribute to the Troops show in Iraq. Hogan turned down the offer for various reasons. Vince has pitched the idea to Hogan several times over the years and Hogan turns him down every time. One of the main reasons Hogan declined the offer is that his divorce has been described as a “full-time job” for him. (Source: Prowrestling.net)
