— Nikki Cross was shown backstage talking to herself, excited about getting to have fun with Bianca Belair again. She started ranting “I know, I know, I know” over and over again before cameras cut away.

— Mauro Ranallo welcomes us to Full Sail University alongside Nigel McGuinness and Percy Watson, as both Lars Sullivan and EC3 are shown warming up backstage for tonight’s big match.

Candice looked strong out the gate with a series of short-arm lariats and a running dropkick. Evans attacked her from behind and went to work in the corner, slamming her opponent over and over again before slowing things down, working the back and neck. Evans took plenty of cheap shots in the ropes, maximizing the referee’s five-counts and almost getting disqualified quite a few times. To her credit, she busted out several new impressive submission holds during this match.

Eventually the fans got behind Candice, who rolled out of a side headlock and got her feet up in the corner to block a splash. She dodged a tope and connected with a big step-up enzuigiri to get some momentum rolling, followed by more clotheslines and low dropkick, before coming off the second rope with a modified MIc Check. LeRae set up for the Unprettier but couldn’t quite get it. Evans mocked her saying she was “pitiful, just like your husband”, at which Candice rushed in the corner delivering a flurry of wild strikes. The referee had to back her off, threatening to end the match via DQ, but Lacey caught her with the Women’s Right to score an upset win.

Winner: Lacey Evans
