WWE Issues Statement on ESPN On Talent Illnesses
As noted, WWE has pulled Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt from this Sunday night’s WWE TLC PPV, and replaced the talents with Kurt Angle and AJ Styles, respectively. Reigns and Wyatt were pulled due to “medical issues”, and WWE has offered the following statement to ESPN on the current situation:
“We have confirmed that three of our performers have been diagnosed with a viral infection. As a precautionary measure, we are ensuring in-ring performers and staff are tested and immunized in accordance with recommended medical guidelines.”
Angle will take Reigns’ spot in the WWE TLC main event, while AJ Styles will face Finn Balor in a singles match.

Daniel Bryan Reacts to Kurt Angle’s In-Ring Return
In related news, WWE Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan Tweeted the following reaction to news of Kurt Angle’s in-ring return.
While the Tweet from Bryan is rather vague, it’s worth noting as Bryan himself is not medically cleared to compete in WWE, and has “retired” from in-ring competition due to numerous concussions suffered throughout his career.
Kurt Angle has a history with neck issues, which has always left his WWE in-ring future in question, but it appears as if WWE feels Angle is healthy enough to return to in-ring competition:
