Watford v Leicester: When is it, where can you watch it, team news and what are the odds?

When is Watford v Leicester?

Barring any health emergencies, high-flying Leicester will head to Vicarage Road to face Watford on Saturday June 20.

What time does Watford v Leicester kick-off?

The game will kick off at 12.30pm and is the first of four Premier League matches that day – all of which will be broadcast live.

What is at stake?

Plenty. Leicester are closing in on a return to the Champions League and go into the match in third position in the table.

It’s a very different story for Watford, though. The Hornets are precariously perched just one spot outside the relegation zone, and they are only currently keeping their heads above water by virtue of a slightly better goal-difference than Bournemouth.

Where can I watch Watford v Leicester?

BT Sport is your port of call for this one.

Is Watford v Leicester free-to-air?

I’m afraid not. BT Sport have opted against making any of their remaining live matches free-to-air, so you’re going to need a subscription.

What is the team news?

Leicester have been dealt a blow with forward Ayoze Perez reportedly a big injury doubt for their trip to Vicarage Road.

Right-back Ricardo Pereira and Daniel Amartey are also going to miss out for the Foxes.

Watford have injury problems of their own, with Daryl Janmaat and Jose Holebas sidelined. Star forward Gerard Deulofeu will also be absent with a serious knee injury.

What happened in the reverse match?

Goals from England internationals Jamie Vardy and James Madison gave Leicester a hard-fought 2-0 win when the teams met at the King Power Stadium in December.

What are the odds?

Leicester are the strong favourites, which is unsurprising given the two sides’ respective league positions. The Foxes are available at around 11/10, while Watford are priced at 9/4. A draw can be backed a 12/5.
