Tonight’s WWE SmackDown Live Preview: United States Championship Open Challenge, More

Tonight’s WWE SmackDown Live will be the go-home show for WWE Fastlane and will see the final build towards Sunday’s PPV event.

Following last week’s shock decision to have Kevin Owens replace Kofi Kingston in the WWE Fastlane main event, the aftermath of that decision is going to continue with The New Day looking for retribution, whilst Kevin Owens looks to gain momentum heading into his WWE Championship match.

Speaking of championship matches, R-Truth announced that he will once again be putting his United States Championship on the line in another open challenge, but who will answer?

KO wasn’t the only man to return last week, with Matt Hardy surprising fans with the Hardy Boyz reuniting and the team will once again be in action as they continue their quest for the tag team titles.

One match has been announced ahead of time which will see The Miz go one on one with Jey Uso ahead of their Tag Team Championship match this Sunday.
