Tama Tonga Calls Enzo Amore A “Cancer” On The Wrestling Business

New Japan star Tama Tonga recently fired back Enzo Amore for comments the former WWE Superstar made online. Tonga has made his feelings on Amore very clear from the moment that Enzo and Big Cass jumped the barricade at the G1 Supercard on April 6.

The G1 event was cross-promoted by New Japan and Ring of Honor and was supposed to be the biggest night of the year for pro wresting outside of WWE.

But the night was tarnished for some by Enzo and Cass’s appearance. The two men interrupted a tag team match involving The Briscoes, The Guerrillas of Destiny, Los Ingobernables de Japon and Villain Enterprises. However that interruption was planned and evidently green-lighted, by ROH.

Tonga, who works primarily in New Japan, had something to say in regards to Amore’s recent verbal assault.

“You ain’t gotta call out the locker room. It was me. It was f*****g me. You’re a real f*****g idiot. You know why? You know why we ain’t letting you in? Cuz you’re a cancer. We don’t want that to spread in our workplace. You’re a f*****g cancer. You talk about bringing in money? No, we’re talking about you killing our business. You’re a cancer.”

This story is still developing, as Enzo, now known as nZo, has answered and now he and Tama are firing shots back and forth. While nZo appears to be cutting a promo, Tonga seems to be shooting and that perception may be due to the facf that Tama is not working for Ring of Honor.

That’s not to say that he and nZo won’t mix it up in the ring at some point. Tama and his brother Tanga Loa, are not only the IWGP Tag Team champions. They’re also the ROH World Tag Team champions. nZo and CaZXL are reportedly not moving forward with Ring of Honor at the moment but there’s always a possibility that could change at any time.
