Sami Callihan to Join Impact Wrestling? New Story Time, PW Tees
Posted On July 30, 2020
It’s no secret that GFW/Impact Wrestling has lost a ton of stars this year. Luckily for them, it appears that they are in the process of acquiring some new talent for themselves. It was reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that independent star Sami Callihan may be close to signing a deal with Impact. He is apparently in talks to join the company very soon. Callihan previously worked in NXT for a bit as Solomon Crowe, a mysterious hacker character. He currently wrestles on the independent scene, and he also appears as Jeremiah Crane on Lucha Underground. He could be joining during Impact’s upcoming television tapings in Ottawa.
The WWE Network is continuing to add some more content each and every single week. The upcoming lineup for this week’s shows set to premiere on the network have been revealed courtesy of PWInsider. A new edition of Story Time will be airing immediately after Raw. 205 Live and NXT will respectively on Tuesday and Wednesday as usual. The belief is that this could be the final episode of season 2 for Story Time. It was recently reported that a new documentary series entitled “365” would be airing soon, so this may end up taking Story Time’s spot on the WWE Network. No exact details on Story Time has been released, except for the following: “Disagreements and discrepancies bring WWE Superstars closer together, farther apart, and even change sports entertainment history!”
The Pro Wrestling Tees website has been a phenomenal platform for independent wrestlers to promote and sell their very own merchandise. The site has sold numerous t-shirts and clothes based on tons of great wrestlers, but they have been exclusively located online until now. Pro Wrestling Tees has announced on their website that they will be opening up their very first retail store in Chicago on 2348 North Damen Avenue on October 13th. DJZ will be there to perform DJ sets during the grand opening ceremony. Independent wrestlers Brian Cage, Sami Callihan, ACH, The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, Marty Scurll, Adam “Hangman” Page, Michael Elgin, and Jeff Cobb will also be appearing for signings on certain dates of the opening weekend.
