A report has named four possible successors to Unai Emery as Arsenal identify targets, according to a report.
A section of supporters have turned on Emery following a run of two wins from their last nine Premier League games.
Raul Jimenez’s header earned Wolves a point at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s 50th Arsenal goal had put Emery’s side in charge.
Emery’s decision to substitute defensive midfielder Lucas Torreira with winger Bukayo Saka just three minutes before Jimenez scored completely altered the mood inside the stadium.
With continued scrutiny of Emery’s results and tactics, speculation over who could replace him if Arsenal wield the axe has led to former Chelsea and Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho being linked to the post.
The Daily Mirror mentions Mourinho, Max Allegri, Patrick Vieira and Mikel Arteta as possible options for the Gunners hierarchy as the club ‘identify top managerial targets’.
The report questions the possibility of Mourinho joining as the move ‘would divide opinion’ in the terraces, while Vieira is ‘struggling at Nice’.
Pep Guardiola’s number two at City, Arteta, is understood to still be ‘on the radar’ at Arsenal despite missing out on the job last year and Allegri could be considered as he ‘fancies English football’.
