Paris Saint-Germain have made Man Utd forward Marcus Rashford their top transfer target this summer, according to reports.
Rashford has scored two goals in the Red Devils last three Premier League matches after not scoring a goal since early January when he bagged a brace in a 4-0 victory over Norwich City.
He has now contributed 16 goals and six assists in 28 Premier League games this term and that has attracted interest from French giants PSG.
MAILBOX: Man United optimism prevails; no Pogba blame here…
The Independent claims that Rashford has become the Ligue Un side’s ‘top transfer target’ and when speaking to other PSG staff members Thomas Tuchel reckons England ‘don’t realise how good a player Rashford actually is’.
The report adds that Man Utd ‘would want over £100m’ for Rashford – who has previously been linked with Barcelona – with Tuchel ‘probably be willing to pay it’ as he admires the player that much.
Tuchel thinks Rashford can ‘complement Neymar and Kylian Mbappe’ as they look to build a team capable of winning the Champions League.
The Man Utd forward’s ‘versatility’ is also particularly attractive to Tuchel with the PSG boss lauding Rashford as ‘the perfect model of the modern dynamic attacking player’.
The Independent continues: ‘Rashford’s camp would naturally be willing to listen to any interest, but are currently content at United. The player is a thorough professional invested in maximising his own career, but also a local United supporter, who feels he can develop even more at the club.’
