NXT Star Set for 205 Live Debut, Big Cass, Injury on Smackdown?

WWE has been adding a ton of new members to the cruiserweight division, as evidence by Kalisto and members of WWE’s UK division mixing it up with the usual cruiserweights lately. It appears that WWE has at least one more name that they intend on adding to the division soon. PWInsider has reported that NXT star Hideo Itami will be called up to the main roster to join 205 Live very soon. Itami has not been featured on NXT for a while, but perhaps WWE has been preparing his call up in that time. No word on when Hideo will be joining the cruiserweight division just yet, but it appears as though he will debut on the show in just a matter of time.
Big Cass shockingly turned on Enzo Amore earlier this year, and that kickstarted a singles run for the wrestling giant. Big Cass picked up multiple victories over Enzo and The Big Show before he was injured during a match on Raw that has caused him to miss months of in-ring action. Cass recently appeared on the Sam Roberts Podcast to discuss his injury, and in the process, he may have revealed a timetable for when fans can expect to see him return to Raw. Cass revealed, “I am right on schedule for when the surgeon said so it should be shortly after WrestleMania.” Big Cass added that the recovery for his injured ACL is going well.
Unfortunately, another WWE Superstar may have suffered an injury recently. Tonight’s Smackdown show was taped earlier in the day in the United Kingdom, and The Usos defended their Smackdown Tag Team Championships against Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin during the show. After taking a chop block to the leg during the match, it looked as though Jey Uso may have been favoring his leg. It even seemed as though the match had to be abruptly cut short due to the nature of Jey’s unexpected injury. Despite the possible leg injury, The Usos still managed to defeat Gable & Benjamin to retain their Smackdown Tag Team Championships.
Yup, word is Jey Uso injured his left leg during a match against Gabe and Benjamin during SD Live in Manchester England
