No Time For Safety? 9 Out Of 10 Indians Neither Buy Helmets For Their Children Nor Put Seat Belts On

Nine out of 10 Indians don’t worry about the safety of their children on road as neither they buy helmets for the kids if they travel by two-wheelers, nor they secure them with seat belts if the family travels by four-wheelers.

This is an appalling reality that has come to fore due to a study which the union minister for road, transport and highways Nitin Gadkari talked about on Friday while acknowledging the failure of his department in ensuring the safety of people on road.
