— According to Atlanta police, a person attending last night’s SmackDown/ECW show at the Philips Arena fell from a walking ramp and died. Due to the lack of details given in the report, it is unclear if the accident occurred at the arena, or if it happened somewhere else after the show. Police said that the accident happened just before midnight and that the victim had a ticket to the WWE show that took place earlier in the evening. You can read the article and see a video report at this link. In the article there is a picture of a walking platform outside of the arena that is about 25-30 feet above the ground, so that could be what they mean.

— Names being discussed for induction into the WWE Hall of Fame next year include the Von Erichs, Ted DiBiase, Mae Young, Gordon Solie, Rick Rude, and for the celebrity wing, Bob Uecker. Also, they really want Ric Flair, which has been the plan for a long time now, but both sides are currently on the outs.
