Mirror delete story on Pogba, Fernandes injuries in training

The Daily Mirror website have deleted an exclusive falsely reporting on a Man United training-ground clash that led to injuries for both Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes.
The publication released a story on Friday evening suggesting that the midfielders were ‘both injured’ in an accidental collision, with Fernandes thought to have come off worse.
But that article is no longer accessible on the newspaper’s website as it has been taken down completely.
Man United’s midfield has become daunting again…
A number of other outlets, including the MailOnline, The Sun, Football.London and talkSPORT, have all kept their versions live, citing the deleted Mirror story as their source. Because clicks are more important than accuracy.
It appears that Simon Mullock, the journalist in question, might well have been duped by this parody website. And that is sensational.
Man United fan site Stretty News dismissed the concerns as ‘nothing to worry about’, having asked ‘an Old Trafford insider’.
And the confusion was cleared up entirely by Saturday afternoon when Pogba and Fernandes were named in the Man United starting line-up to face Bournemouth at home in their continued pursuit of Champions League qualification.
We await what is sure to be an intriguing explanation, blaming ‘sources’ and such.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has previously gone into great detail as to how he can utilise his two midfielders in the same starting line-up.
“There will be rotations, there will be times when Paul will play up with Bruno, sometimes it’s deeper, sometimes you play with a diamond,” he said last month.
“Of course it has been encouraging to see them together but it’s also encouraging how Nemanja (Matic), Scott (McTominay) and Fred are making it difficult for me to leave them out, which is a good position for me to be in as a coach.”
