Melania Trump holds two-month-old baby orphaned in El Paso

The two-month-old baby orphaned in the El Paso shooting has been pictured being held by Melania Trump. Paul Anchondo’s parents, Andre and Jordan Anchondo, were among the 22 people killed in the tragedy last week.
The baby was brought to the hospital by relatives when the US president and first lady visited on Wednesday.
In the image Mr Trump gave a thumbs up sign, which his opponents on social media criticised.
But Tito Anchondo, the baby’s uncle, who brought him to the hospital, defended the president, and said the baby’s parents had been supporters.
Mr Anchondo told NPR: "I think people are misconstruing President Trump’s ideas. My brother was very supportive of Trump."
He added to the Washington Post: "He was just there as a human being, consoling us and giving his condolences."
Mr Anchondo told the newspaper he "definitely" felt consoled after talking to the president.
Mrs Trump wrote on Twitter: "I met many incredible people in Dayton, Ohio & El Paso, Texas yesterday. Their communities are strong and unbreakable."
It came as Mr Trump launched an attack on Joe Biden, the front-runner for the Democrat nomination in 2020.
He said: "Look, Joe is not playing with a full deck. This is not somebody you can have as your president. But if he got the nomination I’d be thrilled."
Mr Biden was widely criticised on Friday over a gaffe during an event in Iowa.
Mr Biden told an audience: "Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids."
His campaign later said he "misspoke and immediately corrected himself."
