There had been much speculation over recent weeks on the fee for Wan-Bissaka with various sums of money reported but Ornstein claims that Palace were eventually happy to accept £50m.
Another BBC journalist Simon Stone clarified the Wan-Bissaka fee yesterday saying: ‘Fee for Wan-Bissaka will be initial £45m + £5m add ons, so fifth highest fee. Behind Fred (and the others).’
And now The Sun claims that the right-back has signed a six-year deal worth £25m going from around wages of around £10k per week to a multi-millionaire.
David Moyes was the last United employee to be offered a deal of that length and The Sun believes it ‘shows the club’s long-term commitment to their new player’.
