Liverpool have ‘no concerns’ over Van Dijk as £57m report rubbished

Reports claiming Virgil van Dijk is set to be offered a new £220,000 a week contract by Liverpool to ward off interest from Paris-Saint-Germain have been rubbished.
The Sun claim the Reds talisman will sign a new five-year contract worth £57million when Liverpool seal the Premier League title.
The report states that the new contract was to be offered to prevent PSG luring Van Dijk away from Anfield.
But the Daily Mail has dismissed this report, claiming all contract negotiations have been suspended during the coronavirus crisis.
Liverpool reportedly have ‘no concerns’ over Van Dijk leaving the club and although he could undoubtedly earn a ridiculous wage at PSG, the centre-back has no desire to leave.
The 28-year-old was signed for a world record £75million fee for a defender from Southampton in January 2018, and currently earns £180,000 a week.
