Leicester join race to sign RB Salzburg star man Daka

Leicester City are considering a move for RB Salzburg striker Patson Daka in the summer transfer window.
Brendan Rodgers is looking for a long-term replacement for club legend Jamie Vardy.
Daka scored 29 goals in 36 games for Salzburg last season, and could be available for as little as £17million.

The Zambian forward is similar to Vardy as both players possess a great amount of pace and like to get in behind opposition defences.
Replacing the 34-year-old will be a top priority for Rodgers over the next few years as he is progressively getting past his best.
Despite this, Vardy still managed 17 goals last term for the Foxes.
Chelsea and Liverpool have also been linked with a move for Daka, but no bids have been made by either club.
Elsewhere, Liverpool have been in negotiations with Borussia Moenchengladbach over a possible deal for Florian Neuhaus, according to a German journalist.
This season, he scored six goals and chipped in with six assists as the German outfit finished eighth in the Bundesliga.
German media recently said that Neuhaus had signed a pre-contract agreement with Bayern Munich to join in 2022, but the player has refuted those suggestions.

There have also been repeated reports of Liverpool interest with Sport Bild claiming that it is ‘highly conceivable’ that Neuhaus could end up at Anfield this summer.
Georginio Wijnaldum joined Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer from Liverpool this week and it is thought Jurgen Klopp could be in the market for a replacement this summer.
And now Sport1 journalist Florian Plettenberg claims that ‘Klopp wants him’ when speaking about interest in Neuhaus.
He added that ‘there have already been talks in the past few days. The club want to replace Wijnaldum. But there is no offer yet.’
German side Gladbach will ask for ‘more than €40m’ for Neuhaus and Liverpool are ‘the club that has deposited its interest most concretely’.
It is understood that ‘his future will become clear after the Euros’ with the midfielder in the Germany squad for the European Championship.
Heskey said: “I think they’ve missed that (sort of player) since Coutinho. Someone who can get in those pockets, travel with the ball and start committing defenders to come out of those spaces which they can exploit.
“So someone like (Neuhaus) would suit Liverpool in the way that they play. Someone who can really drive with the ball.”
