Leeds United have registered their interest in signing Swansea City’s Ben Cabango, according to reports.
The centre-back enjoyed a great breakthrough season for his boyhood club during the 2019/20 campaign.
Cabango made 26 appearances in all competitions for the Swans last term. He spent most of the first half of the season on the periphery, before making his full debut in a 1-1 draw with Huddersfield Town in November.

From there the youngster did not look back. Since the return from lockdown, Cabango played in all but one of Swansea’s Championship games as they made a late burst into the play-offs.
The 20-year-old was a big part of Swansea’s success last season, as he revelled at playing regular Championship football.
Cabango played a part in each semi-final leg against Brentford, though they fell short losing 3-2 on aggregate.
The Wales youngster has already been capped at youth level and his end of season form has been rewarded with a call-up to their senior side. Wales are set to face Finland on Thursday and Bulgaria on Sunday in Group H of the Nations League.

Leeds United missed out on signing Ben White, who recently signed a new deal with Brighton. But Marcelo Bielsa has moved quickly to bolster the Whites’ defensive ranks.
The Yorkshire Evening Post report that Cabango is one of the defenders the Premier League newcomers are looking at.
Leeds have already signed German international Robin Koch from Freiburg. He looks set to be first-choice alongside Liam Cooper, as the piece adds that whoever else is brought in will be used as cover.
Cabango would be Leeds’ eighth summer signing having already splashed out on the likes of Rodrigo Moreno, Helder Costa and Illan Meslier.
