Impact Wrestling Draws Strong Viewership Number to Kickoff 2018

According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s edition of Impact Wrestling, which was the first of 2018 and featured a stacked card, averaged 309,000 viewers. This week’s show featured the crowning of new Impact Tag Team Champions in LAX, and the crowning of a new X-Division Champion in Taiji Ishimori.

Comparatively, this week’s Impact Wrestling was up from last week’s 285,000 viewership average and is the best number Impact has drawn since August 27th, 2017. This week’s show also featured a main event of Eli Drake vs Alberto El Patron for the Impact Global Title, and featured James Storm’s final Impact Wrestling match as he lost a “loser leaves Impact” match to Dan Lambert.

This week’s Impact Wrestling ranked #140 in overall cable TV viewership for the night, and this is the third straight week the show has seen an increase in viewership from the previous week.
