Fernandes broker involved as Man Utd ‘send mandate’ for transfer

Man Utd have stepped up their interest in Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso, according to reports in France.
Bayern signed Tolisso from Lyon back in 2017 for a Bundesliga transfer record of £37m, but the 25-year-old has failed to live up to expectations.
A serious knee injury kept Tolisso out for the vast majority of the 2018/19 campaign and the Frenchman has struggled this season for regular game-time under Hans-Dieter Flick.

There have been reports over the last week that Tolisso has emerged as a target for Man Utd with the Premier League side apparently ‘working on a deal’ for the France international.
And now Le10 Sport (via Sport Witness) claims that Man Utd have ‘sent a mandate’ to ‘allow the dossier to go ahead’.
The French publication goes on to say that Antero Henrique, who played a ‘major role’ in the transfer of Bruno Fernandes to Old Trafford in January, has been on the case ‘for a few weeks’.
Henrique has been in contact with ‘the player and his entourage’ with Tolisso’s stance that a move to Man Utd ‘doesn’t leave him indifferent’.
