Everton v Leicester: When is it, where can you watch it, team news and what are the odds?
Posted On June 30, 2020
When is Everton v Leicester?
Barring any health emergencies, the game is scheduled to take place on Wednesday July 1.
What time does Everton v Leicester kick-off?
The game is scheduled for a 6pm kick-off and is one of three Premier League matches in that time-slot with another to follow at 8.15pm.
What is at stake?
There is no doubt about it that Leicester could really do with a win. The Foxes have not been in good form since the restart and got dumped out of the FA Cup last weekend too. With Wolves and Manchester United eyeing the Champions League spot they currently occupy, now would be a great time to get back on track.
Everton have an outside chance of forcing themselves into the Europa League picture, so their season is far from over.
Where can I watch Everton v Leicester?
The match will be broadcast by Sky Sports.
Is Everton v Leicester free-to-air?
It’s not, no. This one is subscription only, so you’ll need a Sky Sports subscription or a Now Tv pass to watch it.
What is the team news?
Leicester may have to do without key midfield man James Maddison for this one. Maddison missed the FA Cup clash with Chelsea with a hip problem and is unlikely to be ready for the trip to Goodison Park.
Jamie Vardy will once again look for his 100th Premier League goal.
Yerry Mina and Fabian Delph could be back in contention for Everton, but Djibril Sidibe and Theo Walcott will miss out.
What happened in the reverse match?
A last-gasp Kelechi Iheanacho winner ensured Leicester celebrated a 2-1 success when the two teams met at the King Power Stadium in December.
What are the odds?
Everton are the favourites to claim all three points here at 6/4. Leicester are only very slightly the outsiders at 7/4, while the draw is available at 23/10.
