Date for Asuka’s Main Roster Debut, WWE Talks Mayweather/McGregor

During the most recent set of television tapings, Asuka surrendered her NXT Women’s Championship. After holding the title for an astounding 500+ days, “The Empress of Tomorrow” vacated the championship due to an injury that she sustained during her match against Ember Moon at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III. She injured her collarbone and is expected to be out for about 6-8 weeks until it is fully healed. Luckily, she is going to be getting a promotion to the main roster out of the whole ordeal. The incident should be taken care of soon, but when will Asuka be debuting on the main roster? Not for a while as it turns out.
Earlier, Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin revealed that the plan is to put Asuka on Raw when she comes up. Now James McKenna of Pro Wrestling Sheet has shed more details on when Asuka may be debuting on the main roster. The plan is apparently to have Asuka make her main roster debut on the upcoming TLC pay-per-view on October 22nd. The event is a Raw-exclusive show, which seems to fall in line with the early reports of her joining the Raw brand. It is unknown exactly how long Asuka’s injury will take to heal, but it seems likely that her collarbone injury will be fixed by the time that the TLC show comes around.Get ready to see Asuka on the main roster very soon.
Tonight is the night of the mega fight between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and UFC’s Conor McGregor. The two are having a boxing match on pay-per-view tonight. WWE recently uploaded a new video of WWE Pop Question, and some WWE Superstars made their bold predictions for the huge match tonight. WWE has been interested in this fight for a while, and Triple H supposedly even wanted to bring Mayweather and McGregor into WWE to hype their fight. The event is also being called by NXT’s lead announcer Mauro Ranallo. Whoever wins tonight, just remember what Rusev said: “They’ll make a lot of money. They’re both winners.”
