Cody Rhodes Picks His Favorite Match, Talks Sammy Guevara Possibly Becoming #1 Contender

Cody Rhodes hosted a Twitter Q&A this weekend, answering a variety of questions from fans about his career and the future.

Cody was asked what his favorite match of his career is, with the AEW star choosing his Money in the Bank match from 2013 where he almost won the match, until Damien Sandow pushed him from the ladder and won the match himself.

As well as that Cody addressed his upcoming match with Sammy Guevara, admitting that he would become a logical contender for the AEW World Championship should he defeat Rhodes on the opening AEW show.

He also spoke about what he has learnt the most lately, stating that after ALL IN he noticed that wrestling is more talent controlled, which is risky for greener wrestlers but lets the really talented wrestlers shine.

He would be the logical contender for it https://t.co/q5amQPGoQz

After “All In” I’ve noticed it’s increasingly more talent controlled. Less or zero writers, less corporate agendas, more freedom(which lets the really talented wrestlers shine bright but is also risky for the greener ones). More seasoned talent, more awareness, more listening. https://t.co/VCwKTnhJLg
