Christmas Raw Commercial-Free, Paige Biopic Wraps, Mauro Ranallo
Posted On July 27, 2020
Some fans have complained that the amount of commercial breaks during Raw can be a bit distracting, especially since there are certainly plenty of them. Rejoice, because commercials will be going away during the Christmas edition of Raw (for a little while, at least). WWE announced on their official website that this Monday’s edition of Raw will be going commercial-free during the first hour of the show. It was also mentioned in that same announcement that the first hour for Smackdown, which will be airing the following night, will also air commercial-free. Both wrestling shows are scheduled to air live on the USA Network next week as usual.
After being out of action for several months, WWE superstar Paige finally returned to the ring a few weeks ago. Appropriately, the upcoming biopic based on Paige’s life and upbringing has finally concluded production. For several months now, WWE has been involved in a project with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions company to create the new film. Director Stephen Merchant recently confirmed on his Instagram account that “Fighting With my Family” has finally been completed. No release date has been provided for the film at the moment, but Merchant promises to update fans on the future of the film very soon.
Well, that’s done then. Thanks to cast, crew and everyone who helped make FIGHTING WITH MY FAMILY. It’s a funny, emotional, uplifting film. Stay tuned for updates on when you can see it.

NXT announcer Mauro Ranallo was involved in a very controversial story earlier this year when reports alleged that he quit his job as the lead announcer for Smackdown due to constant bullying from his colleague JBL. Though he eventually returned as an announcer for NXT, Mauro claimed that the reason why he nearly left the company was not because of JBL. Ever since JBL left WWE earlier this year, fans have been begging for Ranallo to return to the main roster. However, PWInsider recently confirmed that Ranallo agreed to work only for Triple H and NXT when he decided to come back to WWE. The reason why Ranallo prefers to work in NXT is because he reportedly has more freedom as an announcer under Triple H’s leadership.
