Bundesliga striker snubs Liverpool ‘enquiries’ – report

Bundesliga striker Milot Rashica has ignored ‘enquiries’ from both Liverpool and AC Milan to stay in Germany, according to reports.
Rashica notched eight goals and seven assists for Werder Bremen this season but could not prevent their relegation, but the Kosovan will leave the club this summer.
According to SportBild (via SportWitness), Rashica has chosen to join RB Leipzig, where he will replace the Chelsea-bound Timo Werner, who was also heavily linked with Liverpool.
Rashica has apparently had an ‘intensive conversation’ with Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann and decided that he wants to play in the Champions League with his side.
The only thing still to determine is the price, with Werder Bremen asking for more than €20m, which would be the majority of RB Leipzig’s summer budget.
Jurgen Klopp has been talking about possible transfers this week, saying: “Ask me can we develop the squad and it is probably possible, but only with real money.
“We have talents ourselves, big talents, and players who can make big steps in our squad. But buying now?
“Just go out there and name whoever you want, whatever the player is, go for it? That is really difficult.”
