Bret Hart’s Alleged Attacker: “It Just Felt Like It Was The Right Moment”

The NY Post is reporting that 26-year old Zachary Madsen, the former-MMA Fighter that allegedly rushed the ring and tackled Bret “Hitman” Hart at Saturday’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, appeared in court on Sunday. According to prosecutors, Madsen reportedly said “It just felt like it was the right moment.”
The Lincoln, NE resident was held on $1,500 bond on charges of assault and criminal trespassing. The judge also ordered an order of protection against Madsen, for WWE Hall of Famer Bret “Hitman” Hart and WWE security guard Thaddeus Jones.
According to the Lincoln Police Department, Madsen was in trouble back in September for allegedly stalking Mixed Martial Artist Haris Talundzic.
