Backstage News On Mick Foley’s Referee Role at WWE Hell in a Cell, Hogan Polls Fans On The Shield, Classic Jericho Clip

As seen on WWE Raw this week, it was announced that Hall of Famer Mick Foley will be the special guest referee of the Braun Strowman vs Roman Reigns Hell in a Cell Title match this Sunday.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio this week that the addition of Foley to the PPV match is interesting, given Foley is on the “do not touch list” in WWE. As a result of injuries Foley has sustained throughout his wrestling career, Foley is not allowed to take bumps in WWE, so it’s not very likely he will get very physical during the match this Sunday night. Meltzer did note Foley would likely be cleared to to The Mandible Claw since it would not require him to take any bumps, but other than that his role will likely limited in terms of physicality.
