RMC Sport claim Juventus made contact with Lyon earlier this week, affirming their interest in the 22-year-old.
The Gunners will likely have to sell before they can add to their squad – particularly if they also want to land Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid – and may have to hasten the exits of some unwanted stars to do so.
