Agent to ‘offer’ Man Utd star to PSG ‘like every season’

Mino Raiola will ‘offer’ Man Utd midfielder to Paris Saint-Germain again in the summer transfer window, according to reports in France.

The Frenchman has become an important part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s starting XI over the last couple of seasons with Pogba making 31 starts in all competitions, contributing six goals and six assists.

Pogba has enjoyed a relatively drama-free season at Old Trafford but his agent Raiola has continued to hog the headlines, claiming back in December that “it’s over for Paul Pogba at Manchester United.”

While in March he claimed that the Man Utd owners justified his spat with Sir Alex Ferguson when they brought Pogba back to Old Trafford.

And now Le Parisien (via Sport Witness) claims Raiola could look to force a move again this summer with Pogba only having a year remaining on his current deal at Man Utd.

The report weighs up PSG’s summer business and reckons the French giants technical director Leonardo will have contact with Raiola over Pogba.

Le Parisien add: ‘Mino Raiola will offer him, like every season, Paul Pogba, whose contract at United expires in a year’.

A report at the beginning of this month claimed Pogba will leave Man Utd this summer unless he agrees to sign a new deal at the club.

The Sun said that Pogba ‘will be sold this summer if he refuses to commit to signing a new deal’ but Man Utd  are ‘still confident they can keep him’.

Meanwhile, France and Chelsea legend Marcel Desailly suggested Pogba should leave Man Utd to work under “a coach who understands him”.

Desailly said: “He needs a good city. He needs a good team who play for him. He needs a coach who understands him.

“[Didier] Deschamps readjusted Pogba during the World Cup. He changed his system to 4-2-3-1 for Pogba.

“Out of four elements to make Pogba the best… if only two of the elements are there it’s not enough for him to express himself.

“There is two out of four [at Manchester United] so probably he has to go somewhere else to gain an extra one to potentially be able to show that consistency and that talent that he has and shine in the football world.”
